Paper selections are complete, the ETRA 06 program and conference registration links have now been added to the main web page.

Please note that conference registration is separate from accommodations -- that needs to be handled independently with the hotel.

Paper acceptance decisions are taking us just a tad longer than expected - they should be announced today or tomorrow.

The www.e-t-r-a.org website will be down for maintenance 11/17/05 (7am-5pm EST).
10/20/05
Due to numerous author requests, the full paper submission deadline has been extended to 10/31/05.

We have now received ACM approval. Consequently, the CFP has been released on this web site and will be advertised shortly. The paper submission site is functioning although it has not been as fully tested as it could have been. Please email Andrew Duchowski at andrewd@e-t-r-a.org if you experience any problems.

Still waiting on ACM approval...

The ETRA submission web page is currently being developed with PHP and MySQL code obtained from the good folks running the APGV conference. Until the CFP is issued, please refrain from creating an account there.

Slightly behind schedule, we've begun putting together the web pages for the 2006 meeting in San Diego. We're waiting on ACM approval, after which we'll be able to issue the CFP and announce the conference location. Stay tuned!

It's time again to start organizing the ETRA conference. If you are not familiar with ETRA, it is the US-based international Eye Tracking Research & Applications symposium, held bi-ennially since 2000. ETRA 06 will be held 27-29 March, 2006 in San Diego, CA.

Here's "what's in the mix for 2006":

  • Having considered the costs associated with professional submission management from PCS, we've decided to go it alone again, but this time with PHP/MySQL code obtained from the organizers/developers of the APGV conference. It looks like a very well organized system but will undoubtedly require some customization for our venue. If you experience any problems with this system, please email Andrew Duchowski at andrewd@e-t-r-a.org.

  • We will be making a concerted effort at attracting posters this year. We'll have more on this later.

We hope to see you at ETRA 06!
